Question: What to do when you’re invited to spend an afternoon at the home of Stewart and Heidi Woodman (of Levain and Heidi’s restaurant fame) tasting food for their upcoming cookbook?
Answer: YOU SAY YES!!
A big thanks to photographer Kate NG Sommers for inviting K and me to join in the fun and another big thanks to the Woodman’s, their family and crew for welcoming us.
You’ll have to buy the cookbook (targeted for October) for all the details, but I will say this: If you do not make the scallops with carrot curry you are a fool.
Of course, all the gourmet food during the day did not stop me from over salting our dinner to the point of being inedible. Guess that just means food is sometimes best left up to the professionals. But that’s not going to stop us from trying!
